The first time you login to Uplevel, you will see data for everyone enabled for your organization.

You can change the people included in the data by selecting a Segment. By default, we dynamically create Segments based on common properties of individuals.

A custom Segment that you define can be created by clicking the Create Segment button at the bottom of the selector.

💡Set the rules that define your Segment.

You can control who sees your Segment with the visibility toggle

When Data on managers is enabled, information about managers will be included in the metric calculations.

When Data on former employees is enabled, historical information for an employee will continue to be included in the results after they have exited.

Create rules for the Segment based on the properties of the individuals you wish to select.

You can set a list of specific people using the Contributor attribute.

To avoid exposing data about specific individuals, your organization may require a minimum number of people to be in a Segment. Your segment cannot be created if it does not meet these requirements.

Click Create to save your custom Segment.

After your custom Segment is created, the application will automatically update to use this new Segment.

💡 Any Segment can be saved as your default when you log in to the web application in the future by using the pin icon next to the Segment name.

Saved defaults only apply to your user, and will not impact the experience of other users in your organization.
